Zombie Walk struts through Birmingham

The scene of wild Zombies walking through Birmingham, at the seventh annual Zombie Walk took place with ‘walking dead’ on 8th August 2015. The participants headed for Victoria Square to pull together their look for the day, and before the walk were scaring the crowds watching on.

Following successful marches through the city over the last six years over two thousand people were once again expected to don Zombie make-up and attire before taking to the streets in “search of brains”.

The event is the brainchild of Jamie Chapman from Sutton Coldfield, and has the target of raising £15,000 for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The Walk has grown, in the cities event calendar, to showcase highlights including a zombie games, best dressed zombie competition, a huge costume and make-up party; and has consistently been supported by local organisations and businesses.

The event generates a great deal of buzz in the city of Birmingham, and is also formally supported by a number of well-known city businesses wanting to reach out to the diverse crowd which the Zombie Walk attracts.

The Birmingham Zombie Walk 2015 was officially supported by Free Radio and Hollywood Monster.
